Terms of Service

01About ZeD

ZeD provides a broad set of Discord server-management features, which may include:

• Anti-nuke and server protection
• Raid and threat protection
• AutoMod
• Member moderation
• Verification and welcome systems
• Tickets and support workflows
• Giveaways
• Join-to-Create voice channels
• Custom tags and TagScript functionality
• Internationalization
• Server logging and incident tracking
• Analytics and statistics
• Dashboard and web/API functionality
• Interactive configuration interfaces

Features may be added, modified, limited, or removed over time.

02Eligibility and Authority

You must be permitted to use Discord and its applications under Discord's applicable rules and requirements.

If you install or configure ZeD on a Discord server, you represent that you have the authority to grant the Bot the required permissions and configure its features.

03Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ZeD to:

• Violate Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or applicable policies
• Facilitate illegal activity
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Gain unauthorized access to accounts, servers, systems, or data
• Circumvent security, moderation, permission, or access controls
• Exploit vulnerabilities or intentionally abuse bugs
• Attack, overload, disrupt, or damage ZeD or its infrastructure
• Use the Bot to distribute malicious content or conduct harmful activity
• Abuse automated features in a way that disrupts Discord communities or services

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of ZeD complies with applicable rules and laws.

04Permissions and Intents

ZeD may require Discord permissions and privileged Gateway Intents to provide certain features. These may include access required for message content, server members, moderation, AutoMod, security monitoring, member automation, and other functionality.

By granting permissions to ZeD, you authorize it to perform actions allowed by those permissions. Server administrators should grant only the permissions and access appropriate for their intended configuration.

05Anti-Nuke and Security Features

ZeD may provide anti-nuke and server protection features that monitor administrative actions and may automatically respond to potentially destructive activity.

When anti-nuke is enabled, ZeD may automatically restrict, quarantine, or reverse the actions of accounts exhibiting destructive behavior, including server administrators or highly privileged users. You understand and accept that anti-nuke responses may affect any account that triggers the configured thresholds, including your own or other trusted accounts.

Server administrators are responsible for reviewing and appropriately configuring anti-nuke settings, permission levels, and trusted roles.

06AutoMod

ZeD may provide AutoMod features including spam detection, content filtering, phishing/link protection, mention protection, join protection, bad-word filtering, and strike systems.

AutoMod operates based on your server's configuration and may take automated enforcement actions. Server administrators are responsible for reviewing and configuring AutoMod rules, thresholds, and responses appropriately for their community.

Automated decisions may not always be perfectly accurate. ZeD is not responsible for automated actions taken in accordance with the configuration you have enabled.

07Moderation Features

ZeD may provide commands and features for member moderation, including bans, kicks, mutes, timeouts, warns, quarantines, and related actions.

You are responsible for ensuring that your moderation practices comply with Discord's policies and applicable laws. Server administrators are responsible for the moderation actions taken on their servers using ZeD.

08Tickets

ZeD may provide ticket systems for member support workflows. Ticket channels, messages, and configurations are controlled by server administrators. ZeD is not responsible for the content of ticket messages or for how servers handle support interactions.

09Giveaways

ZeD may provide giveaway functionality for Discord servers. Giveaway configuration, prizes, eligibility requirements, and winner selection are determined by server administrators. ZeD is not responsible for prize fulfillment or for disputes arising from giveaway events.

10Custom Tags and TagScript

ZeD may provide custom tag and TagScript functionality allowing server-specific automated responses. You are responsible for the content and behavior of custom tags you configure. Tags must not be used to harass, abuse, spam, or violate applicable policies.

11Welcome and Member Automation

ZeD may provide welcome messages, join/leave events, auto-role assignment, verification, and member automation features. Server administrators are responsible for configuring these features appropriately and ensuring compliance with applicable rules.

12Join-to-Create Voice

ZeD may provide Join-to-Create voice channel functionality, allowing members to generate temporary voice channels. Servers and members are responsible for ensuring voice usage complies with applicable rules and policies.

13Internationalization

ZeD may provide multilingual support, allowing servers to configure responses in supported languages. Translations are provided on a best-effort basis and may not always be perfectly accurate.

14Dashboard and Web/API Services

ZeD may provide dashboard and web/API functionality for server configuration, management, and statistics. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your authenticated session and credentials. Access to the dashboard should only be granted to individuals you authorize.

15Analytics and Statistics

ZeD may provide server, security, command, performance, and runtime statistics. Statistics may include guild/member/channel counts, command usage, anti-nuke saves, uptime, latency, memory usage, growth information, and security events. Statistics are provided for operational, monitoring, and informational purposes and may not always be perfectly accurate or real-time.

16Third-Party Services and Discord

ZeD operates through Discord and may depend on third-party infrastructure and services. ZeD is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc.

Your use of Discord remains subject to Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and other applicable policies.

17Availability and Changes

ZeD is provided on an "as available" basis. Availability may be affected by maintenance, updates, Discord outages or API changes, hosting or database issues, network problems, security incidents, or other circumstances outside the developers' reasonable control. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or access to ZeD when necessary.

18User and Server Responsibility

You are responsible for your Discord account, your use of ZeD, your server configuration, commands and settings you authorize, moderation rules and decisions, content created through ZeD, and ensuring your use complies with applicable policies and laws.

Server administrators are responsible for informing members about relevant server rules and moderation practices.

19Privacy

ZeD may process information necessary to provide its features. The collection, use, storage, retention, and deletion of information are described in the ZeD Privacy Policy. By using ZeD, you acknowledge that information may be processed as described in that Privacy Policy.

20Intellectual Property

ZeD, including its name, branding, original code, documentation, and associated materials, may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unless expressly permitted by the developers or an applicable open-source license, you may not copy, redistribute, modify, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit proprietary parts of ZeD.

21Abuse and Enforcement

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to ZeD when we reasonably determine that these Terms have been violated, the Bot is being abused or exploited, ZeD or its infrastructure is being attacked, or use creates a security or operational risk. Where appropriate, access may be restored after the relevant issue has been resolved.

22Disclaimer

ZeD is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developers do not guarantee that ZeD will always be available, will always be error-free, or that automated moderation or security systems will detect every violation or prevent every attack. You use ZeD at your own discretion and responsibility.

23Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developers of ZeD will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from the use of, inability to use, or reliance on ZeD. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

24Termination

You may stop using ZeD at any time by removing the Bot from your Discord server or ceasing to interact with it. The developers may restrict or terminate access to ZeD when necessary under these Terms.

25Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated when ZeD's features, infrastructure, or policies change. The Last Updated date will be updated when revisions are published. Continued use of ZeD after updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
